Currently completing 52 half hour shows called “Amazing Seniors” for the Retirement Living Cable Network. Also, Directed Musicians 4 Disaster Relief concert video and DVD shot at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.

Wrote, and Directed “Guardians of Angkor”, shot in Cambodia for National Geographic Television, with Live Art Entertainment in Singapore. Wrote, Produced and Directed, “The Cavenof the Glowing Skulls” shot in Honduras, for the Discovery Channel Worldwide. Produced a 15-minute video for the FAA. Also, Produced a 10 minute video for the EEOC. Freelance writing producing and directing also, camera and sound. Attends MIP MIPCOM and NAPTE and available for meetings.

Producer/Head Writer February-December 1998

Producedn13 one-hour shows for Discovery Channel entitled “The FBI Files“. Worked with the FBI to select cases and set up interviews with case agents. Also, responsible for hiring the writing staff and editing and approval of all programs and scripts for the series. Served as writer for one episode.

1997-1998

SPEER INTERNATIONAL WASHINGTON D.C.
Executive Producer / Producer 1997-1998

Executive Producer for original programming division of PVS*SPEER. Also, produced, directed and wrote “Komodo: To Capture a Dragon” a one hour film documentary shot on Komodo Island, in Indonesia.

Co-Executive Produced “Wine 101″, with Ward Television, 6 half hours for PBS on vineyards and wines around the world, narrated by David Hyde Pierce. Also, produced “The Grand Reopening of the Kennedy Center Opera House” for PBS. Traveled to NATPE, MIP and MIPCOM to help establish contacts and company name recognition in the International market place.

1995-1996

THE CRONKITE WARD COMPANY WASHINGTON D.C. AND NEW YORK CITY

Produced and directed the Emmy award winning “Life on Mars?” a one-hour special for the Discovery Channel narrated by John Lithgow. Also produced and directed, four short pieces for the “Newseum” in Washington DC.

THE CRONKITE WARD COMPANY WASHINGTON D.C. AND NEW YORK CITY
Production Manager 1994-1996

Responsible for Production Management of all shows produced in both the New York and Washington D.C. offices. CWC produced over thirty hours of documentary programming for The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel and PBS.

Duties included: development of programming ideas; managing the staff; hiring of all production personnel; creating and tracking budgets and production schedules; negotiating deals with equipment rental companies and post houses; scheduling shoots; getting location permits; setting up foreign and domestic travel.

“Too Marvelous for Words” a two hour tribute to Johnny Mercer and his music. A live audience, live to tape program, starring Margaret Whiting, taped at The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

Responsible for making equipment deals with: Kodak, Sony, Panavision, Arriflex, Sachtler, Tiffen, Century Products, Lowell Lighting, Fuji, Videotek, Avid and Kinoflo. Ordered, insured, and received all equipment and supplies. Assisted instructors in courses on pre-production, videography, cinematography, lighting, and post production.

Film and Video Production company specializing in commercials, informercials, music videos, and documentaries. Produced, wrote and edited “The Dolphin Lab” in Marathon Key, Florida for PBS. Wrote, produced, directed and edited “A Modern Christmas Story” for home Video. Produced and Directed “Mayor’s Cup Power Boat Racing” for ESPN. Traveled to NAPTE to sell product and new program ideas.

Traveled around the U.S. with field production crew for “The New Candid Camera Show”. Operated Betacam, and setup and synchronized to timecode singlenand multi camera shoots.

Responsible for Production Management of all productions and staff of 15 Production and Master Control employees. Also responsible for budgeting, billing, client relations, and scheduling of employees and equipment. Produced, developed, wrote and edited commercials, PSA, promos, sporting events, and special programs.

WTTE TV 28 / SINCLAIR BROADCASTING, COLUMBUS OHIO

Operations Manager / Hired before original sign on of new station. Assisted with all aspects of start up and operation of new station. Including hiring of staff, purchase and installation of equipment and designing on air look for the station.
